embraced the teachings of Yoga after a battle with depression and anxiety in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. After taking my first Yoga class, I immediately realized that the teachings of Yoga had the potential to uplift my life, refresh my perspective, and add adventure to my every day. With the encouragement of my beloved family, teachers, and friends I embarked on the life-changing Jivamukti Teacher Training. Under the mentorship of a dedicated lineage of teachers that include Sharon Gannon, David Life, Jessica Stickler, Jules Febre, Rima Rabbath, Monica Jaggi, Danielle Prager, Michele Baker, Christian Montegut, Jeff Brown, and Russell Simmons, I earned a 300-hour teacher certification. I am also completing my 800-hour Advance Yoga Teacher Certification at Jivamukti Yoga NYC under the mentorship of Jessica Stickler. I love being able to wake up every morning and share the healing teachings of yoga with my community of friends, clients, patients, and family. Yoga will strengthen your body, soften your heart, and sharpen your mind.
Yoga provides a 24/7 refugee from the stressors of life and restores my energy, breathing, and body. It allows me to merge movement with breath creating a graceful and rejuvenating practice. No matter if you’re a mega yogi that can hit all the super dope arm balance or some who falls out of every other arm balance (that’s me), yoga is a healing and nurturing life practice. The practice of yoga will teach you mindfulness, breath consciousness, body awareness, and playfulness.

Practice and All is Coming
e fearless and take the time to get on your yoga mat or to meditate for a few breaths. I love being on my mat, taking a deep breath, firing up my body, dedicating my efforts to a high intention, and dripping buckets of holy water aka sweat. As my teachers say, it’s not about the result but the practice. It’s not about the look of a pose but the intention in your heart. So be adventurous and fire up your YOGA Practice. If you nurture a daily practice, undoubtedly you will see improvements in your health, clarity in your mind, and openness in your heart.
Yoga is a dynamic practice that requires constant exploration. In this space, I will share yoga tips, advice, and amazing yoga sequences straight from my beloved Yoga Teachers. Let’s together embark on our Yoga journey…
It’s not about the result but the practice. It’s not about the look of a pose but the intention in your heart.
